Araba Ankuma

“TOUCHED”

Araba Ankuma is a montage artist and photographer whose multidisciplinary work weaves together visual narrative and experiential design. She received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and is studying for her MFA from SCAD. As a Ghanian-American working internationally, Ankuma focuses on the importance of perception and the necessity of shifting it to illuminate the invisible narratives that connect us. Her work often explores themes of identity, culture, and the human experience, using a variety of media to create compelling and thought-provoking pieces that challenge the viewer’s perspective.
