Anna Núñez is a St. Petersburg, Florida-based abstract painter whose gestural, mixed-media works explore control, release, and emotional response to color. A graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, she draws inspiration from Twombly, Frankenthaler, and Albers. Her paintings balance spontaneity with deliberate composition, resulting in dynamic and expressive pieces. Núñez’s work has been exhibited in galleries and curated exhibitions, gaining recognition for its bold, intuitive mark-making and ability to evoke both movement and introspection.
